Adam and Eve in the Garden
Genesis 2:7–25; 3:1–24
WHAT HAPPENED
The Lord God made the man from the dust of the ground and gave him life. God put the man in the garden of Eden to care for it, and God said the man should not be alone, so He would make a helper for him. Then the serpent spoke to the woman, and after this, the man and woman knew they were naked and made coverings from fig leaves. God spoke about One who would crush the serpent, and later the Lord God made clothing for Adam and his wife.
