MEET JOHN THE BAPTIST
John lived in the wilderness, wore camel's hair, ate locusts and honey — and shook a nation awake: 'Prepare the way of the Lord!'
THE STORY
John baptized crowds in the Jordan River, calling them to turn from sin. When Jesus came to be baptized, John saw the Spirit descend like a dove and heard the Father's voice. His life's motto: 'He must increase, but I must decrease.' He gave his life for speaking the truth.
