MEET JOHN
John was one of the youngest disciples, a fisherman like Peter. He leaned close to Jesus at the last supper, stood at the cross, and wrote five books of the New Testament so that you 'may believe.'
THE STORY
John and his brother James were mending nets when Jesus called them. Jesus nicknamed them 'sons of thunder.' John outran Peter to the empty tomb, cared for Mary after the cross, and in old age received the vision of Revelation on the island of Patmos. His message never changed: God is love, and Jesus is His Son.
