EVE
MOTHER OF ALL LIVING
“The first woman — mother of all living.”
MEET EVE
God said it was not good for man to be alone — and made Eve, the first woman, from Adam's side. Her name means 'life,' and through her line the Life of the world would one day come.
THE STORY
Eve was deceived by the serpent's question — 'Did God really say?' — and took the fruit. But her story doesn't end at the fall. God promised that her Seed would crush the serpent's head, and Adam named her Eve, 'because she was the mother of all living' — an act of faith in God's promise. Generations later, another woman said yes to God, and Eve's promised Seed was born in Bethlehem.
