MEET ADAM
God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life. The first man walked with God in a garden — and his story explains both why the world is broken and why Jesus came.
THE STORY
Adam was placed in Eden to work it and keep it, given every tree but one. When he and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, sin and death entered the world — yet even then, God came looking: 'Where are you?' He clothed them with His own provision and promised a Seed who would crush the serpent. Scripture calls Jesus the last Adam: where the first Adam's disobedience brought death, Christ's obedience brings righteousness and life to all who believe.
