SAMSON
SET APART • STRENGTH FROM THE SPIRIT
“The strongest man who fell — and whose final prayer God still heard.”
MEET SAMSON
Set apart to God from the womb, Samson carried impossible strength — and a wandering heart. His story is a warning and a wonder: the God who gives power also hears the prayer of the broken.
THE STORY
The Spirit of the LORD would come mightily upon him — a lion torn, a thousand Philistines felled with a jawbone. But Samson played with his calling until Delilah's persistence uncovered his secret, and the man set apart woke to find the LORD had departed from him. Blinded and grinding in a Philistine prison, his hair began to grow. His last prayer — 'O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me just this once' — brought the house down on Israel's enemies. Hebrews still lists him among the faithful: grace gets the final word.

- 3.Even at rock bottom, God hears 'remember me.'
PRAYER & REFLECTION
Father, guard my heart where I am strong — that's where I forget to watch. And when I fall, remember me, and strengthen me just this once more. Amen.
