MEET RAHAB
A woman with a past, living in the wall of a doomed city — who heard what God had done and staked everything on Him. Her scarlet cord in the window became her salvation, and her name entered the family line of Jesus.
THE STORY
When the spies came to Jericho, Rahab hid them and confessed a faith the whole city lacked: 'The LORD your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.' She asked for mercy for her family and was told to bind the scarlet cord in her window. When the walls fell, her household alone stood. Hebrews names her in faith's hall of fame, James points to her works, and Matthew's genealogy tells the rest: Rahab became the mother of Boaz — great-great-grandmother of King David, ancestor of the Messiah.
