MEET ISAIAH
In the year King Uzziah died, Isaiah saw the Lord — high and lifted up, the train of His robe filling the temple. One burning coal later, the man of unclean lips became the voice of the Messiah.
THE STORY
No prophet saw Jesus more clearly from further away. Isaiah named Him seven centuries early: born of a virgin, called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God — a Servant wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, by whose stripes we are healed. When the Lord asked, 'Whom shall I send?', Isaiah's answer still calls to every believer: 'Here am I! Send me.'
